A mother mule deer with her fawn. My daughter lived in the Wasatch mountains at 8,500 ft (2,590 meters). She had all manner of wildlife outside her cabin window. When she moved down to town she asked me to paint this picture to remind her of her mountain home. This was my first oil painting in Chicago.
Original is oil on canvas, 16"x20", Nancy Lee Lewis (C) 2015.
